Statistics for My photo blog
Photonovice is doing a project where, they are interested in what makes your blog grow.
For this blog, when I called it Tony's photo blog, I would average about 10 hits a week.
Then I started adding tags to my photos, and the hits went up to about 30 a week.
Then I changed the title to Tony's ALASKA photo blog, and my hits went up to the hundreds...
When i received the most visits, was after joining different groups, like blog explosion, blog catalog and started exchanging links.
I think it was just a year or so of fine tuning, my blog title, getting it out there, and just basically keeping it busy, if i take a week off, it takes like 2 to get everyone back, showing them I am taking photos again..
Most blogs I see dealing with photoblogs, the photographer takes at least one photo a day to share with the readers...
This summer there will be a lot more wildlife, scenery, and whatever else i can find, the winter its harder to find the great shot...
My statics are based on the sitemeter on the bottom of my page

Hi Tony, I recently wrote a blog post about the number of states in the USA that have visited my blog and there are four that have not. One of those is Alaska. It would really thrill me if you could visit my blog post and leave a comment linking back to your blog. Our blogs have nothing in common other than I wrote about needing a visit from Alaska and you live in Alaska. I found your blog by searching Google for Alaska fun blog. Hopefully you are not offended by this and just see it as a bit of fun it is intended to be. Cheers, Dave.
